All My Styles (2012)
I could be long-winded but I'll take the short route and just say, time makes quality. Quality-wise this is likely the
best song set I've created to date. In many areas, it's also the most imaginative. Because everything I've ever done with
music shows itself in this song set. From composition to the equalization and mixing. And though it's 14 tracks, and not
15 tracks like Western Star Battle Disco Wars, the total album length is the longest to date, clocking in at 58:45, give or
take a couple of seconds.
Musically, this is all my styles. Influence from every musical direction, but keeping that pure videogame-esque goophball
edge and sound, with the timbres and beat styles you're likely familiar with. In here, you'll find distorted beats, bluesy
game guitar solos, chippy funk, plain video-game style BGMs, instrumentals designed for vocal coverings, vibraphone jazz,
dubstep, gabber/hardcore techno, and even...breakcore!? It's all in here. The coherence between them all being that you
should still be able to hear my influence at the bottom and heart of every tune.
I hope this was worth to wait to anyone who might stumble across it. I had a lot of fun making these, and discovered
